Greater Omaha Building Permit Values Ahead of the Last 10 Years

Though the recession  impacted the economy as a whole, it was especially visible in building. As of late, however, the business world is experiencing a cautious optimism - reflected in the statistics reported in Omaha building permits. 

The Omaha area for total building permits over the last ten years:



In 2007, there was an unusual 4th quarter increase in permits  driven by the Midtown Crossing construction project. 

This year, through, just January - August has already been a better year for Omaha then any of the past 4 years.
